What Is A Mobile Notary? A mobile Notary is a Notary Public, commissioned by their state, who will travel (for a fee) to your home, office, hospital room, or other location, to notarize your documents ranging from wills and affidavits, to mortgage documents. Most mobile Notaries make a living traveling to a Lender/Title Company's client's location, to present and notarize mortgage loan documents. Notaries usually base their fee on the distance they must travel to meet with the client, and the laws specific to their state.
